WRIGHTSTOWN TRIANGULAR – HILLY HAVEN GC – DE PERE
Wrightstown used a balanced team effort to take home the title at the North Eastern Conference Triangular on Wednesday at Hilly Haven Golf Course. The Tigers carded a team score of 205, finishing ahead of both Little Chute and Oconto Falls, who tied for second at 213.
Wrightstown junior Ella Swanson led all golfers with a medalist round of 42, the only player to break 45 on the day. Teammates Hannah Peterson (54), Molly Ruebl (54), and Lahela Carter (55) provided consistent support, sealing the Tigers’ victory.
Oconto Falls senior Addy Kluth turned in a strong performance with a 49 to take runner-up honors individually. Fellow Panthers Kylie Thompson (52) and Chloe Anastasopoulos (53) kept Oconto Falls in the mix, while Anna Burd (59) and Katelyn Kurek (63) rounded out the scoring.
Little Chute was paced by senior Bailey Hietpas-McKeithan (52) and junior Madalyn Bork (52), while Faith Kolosso (54) and Aubree Roche (55) also contributed top-five scores for the Mustangs.
FVA DUAL – KIMBERLY @ FOND DU LAC
Behind a steady lineup and the day’s top individual performance, Kimberly earned a road victory over Fond du Lac in Fox Valley Association girls golf action Wednesday at Rolling Meadows Golf Course. The Papermakers posted a team score of 180, outpacing Fond du Lac’s 197.
Kimberly sophomore Sophia Haferman was the standout, firing a 38 to claim medalist honors by four strokes. She was backed by consistent rounds from Alyssa Schumacher (47), Carly Poggamann (47) and Maya Brittnacher (48), giving Kimberly four players under 50. Sienna Karls (53) added to the depth for the Papermakers.
Fond du Lac was led by junior Kennedy Kohlman, who carded a 42 to finish runner-up individually. Teammate Ashley Pfeiffer (47) also broke 50, while Kate Hammes (51) and Erica Gerstner (57) rounded out the Cardinals’ scoring group.
BAY NORTH CONFERENCE MIN MEET #5 – CRYSTAL SPRINGS GC – SEYMOUR
The Seymour Thunder continued their dominance in Bay North Conference girls golf Wednesday, rolling to the team title at the Mini-Meet #5 on their home course at Crystal Springs Golf Club. Seymour carded a 183, well ahead of Shawano (218) and Bonduel (219). Sturgeon Bay (236) and Oconto (242) rounded out the field.
Sophomore Maci Heagle paced the Thunder with a steady 41, good for medalist honors on the day. She had strong support from Morgan Lewis (46) and Lyla Schueler (47), while both Ava Skenadore (49) and Jaelyn Wenninger (49) also contributed rounds under 50, showcasing Seymour’s unmatched depth.
Shawano was led by senior Madelyn Moesch, who shot a 48 to finish near the top of the leaderboard. Bonduel’s Paige Wolf (48) matched that mark, while teammate McKenna Onesti (52) and Shawano’s Gwyn Hermann (55) provided solid rounds for their squads.
Sturgeon Bay senior Keira Wesley highlighted her team’s effort with a 49, and Oconto freshman Lacey Sikora impressed with a 50 in one of her first conference meets.
