OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI- A 20-year-old man from Freedom is dead following a two-vehicle crash in the town of Center Wednesday afternoon.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Meade Street and Mackville Road. According to a preliminary investigation, the man was traveling south on a motorcycle when he struck an SUV that was turning onto Meade Street from a private driveway.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver of the SUV, a 26-year-old woman from Grand Chute, was not injured. Deputies say alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
Meade Street was closed for roughly four and a half hours as crews investigated and cleared the crash.
