
Larry L. Rohan, age 60 of the Township of Gillett, Oconto County, WI passed away on Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee.
Larry Lee Rohan was born September 1, 1964 in New London, WI, son to the late Kenneth & Ruth (McFaul) Rohan. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, Bear Creek and later graduated with the Clintonville High School Class of 1982. He was active with the FFA, and also was a part of the choir at both the church and in high school. After graduation, Larry attended Fox Valley Technical College and became a diesel technician. He worked as a manager with Accurate Alignment, a truck repair shop in Appleton for over 35 years. He volunteered in his community as a first responder with the Bear Creek Ambulance Service for 25 years. Larry was lovingly referred to as “St. Larry” as he often helped friends and family fix anything or work on their cars for nothing more than a case of beer or his favorite, Peanut M&Ms. Larry loved his fiancé, Doreen, his “Weenie”. She often told him that he showed her what true love meant. They showed everyone that no matter where they went. People would often ask “Are you married? ” and dad would answer “No, we’re happy…”
Recently, They finished building their dream home where they were ready to retire together along the Oconto River. He often referred to as his “Little piece of Heaven”
Larry was loved by so many. He changed so many people’s lives by teaching, helping and loving others effortlessly. He “fixed” everything and everyone he met. His favorite music in the world was hearing his kids and grandkids laughing and we know that he is up in heaven with a cup of coffee, listening and loving hearing that coming from his “little piece of heaven.”

Larry is survived by his fiance, Doreen Strehlow, Gillett

Grandchildren: Larry, Faith, Jada, Aubrey, Carson, Alivia, Nevaeh, Leroy, Charlotte, Wyatt, Madelyn, Ava, Nora, Archer, Lorelei, & Ryker

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ken & Ruth; and siblings, Colleen Rohan & Pat Rohan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 PM Saturday August 23, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Fr. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will take place on Saturday at the church from 9 AM on Saturday until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry’s name are preferred to be directed to the Rohan family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
