NEW LONDON, WI – The New London Bulldogs are moving forward with a nearly $192,000 project to expand and improve their athletic facilities, with work already underway at Bulldog Stadium. Athletic Director Philip Sloma says the upgrades wouldn’t be possible without the strong backing of the local community, school board, and district leadership.
Sloma says the project will create a more welcoming and efficient space for athletes, fans, and the entire community, with plans including new bathrooms, a modern concession area, and indoor plumbing. Construction crews are working around active sports schedules to minimize disruption, though spectators may notice some inconveniences during events.
“There will be construction going on down at the stadium, so minor inconvenience for our spectators,” Sloma said, noting that the improvements are expected to be completed by spring.
When finished, the upgrades will enhance the game-day experience and serve as a lasting investment in New London’s athletic programs.
