TOWN OF ROYALTON, WI – Two people are dead following a crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of State Highways 22/54 and 110 in the town of Royalton.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just after 2:15 p.m. when a westbound vehicle turned south onto Highway 110 and failed to yield to an eastbound pickup truck. The collision caused a minor secondary crash between the eastbound truck and another pickup that was stopped at the intersection.
The driver and passenger in the westbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not yet been released. The driver of the eastbound truck suffered a minor injury, and the investigation remains ongoing.
