Betty J. Patrikus, age 88 of Green Bay, formerly of Clintonville, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at Autumn’s Promise Assisted Living in Green Bay.
Betty Jane Wuske was born on September 18, 1936 in the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake County as the daughter of the late Clarence and Esther (Malueg) Wuske. As a young girl she moved with her family to Shawano County and graduated from Tigerton High School with the Class of 1954. Betty then went on to Langlade County Teacher’s College in Antigo and graduated in 1956. She met Roger Patrikus at a dance at the Caroline Ballroom and the couple were united in marriage on August 8, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marion. Betty taught in the Clintonville and Marion School Districts for a short time and the couple farmed the Century Farm passed down in Roger’s family until retirement when they moved to Clintonville in 2003. Betty was a member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville and enjoyed helping out volunteering with smaller tasks there. She liked being in the outdoors fishing and her green thumb created very beautiful flower beds around their home. Their door was always open to anyone at anytime.
