Corinne Carol Robelia-Zhuckkahosee, age 70, of Green Bay, went to meet the Creator on Thursday evening, July 31, 2025, in Green Bay, surrounded by her loving family. Corinne was born July 28, 1955, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Richard and Carol (Cornelius) Robelia. She attended primary school in Milwaukee and later attended Seymour High School, graduating with the Class of 1973. Following high school, Corinne moved to Arizona and attended the Native American Institute of Art. After graduating, she returned to the area and met her future husband, James “Bozo” Zhuckkahosee. The couple married on August 1, 1980, at the Oneida Methodist Church. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Crow Settlement where they lived for several years before returning to Oneida. While living in Oneida, Corinne earned an Associate Degree in Environmental Science. A lifelong learner, she later completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Communication from Concordia University. Her husband preceded her in death on January 3, 2016.
Corinne was an avid beader, making regalia for many Powwows. She was also an excellent cook who especially cherished sharing meals with her family. Corinne loved her family and was a devoted Green Bay Packer Fan. Survivors include her daughter, Tamar (Zhuckkahosee) Ramirez of Madison; four grandchildren; and one brother, Daniel (Michelle) Smith of Blackwell, WI. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Corinne was preceded in death by her brother, William Robelia.
Traditional Native Services will be held starting Monday afternoon, August 4, 2025, after 5:00 pm at the Zoar Ceremonial Building. Final prayer will be on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Oneida Nation Burial Ground in Oneida. Visitation will begin on Monday after 5:00 pm at the Ceremonial Building. The family kindly asks for no flowers or plants.
