NEW LONDON, WI – The New London Clippers, representing Post 263, are set to host the Class AA American Legion Baseball State Tournament at their home field, Hatten Stadium. Tournament action begins Friday, August 1, with the Clippers taking on Campbellsport in an 8 p.m. matchup.
Manager Jim Thorpe says the opportunity to host is a reflection of the hard work and strong culture within the program.
“Great program, successful program, and a great facility, and an awesome group of people that we work with and coach,” said Thorpe.
Bringing together some of the top teams from across Wisconsin, the tournament marks a major moment for the Clippers, who now look to make a deep run on their home turf in front of the New London faithful.
