WITTENBERG, WI – A new commit in Central Wisconsin, coming from Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School as Melaina Granquist committed to play Division 1 basketball at Western Illinois.
Granquist was a force to be reckoned with while on the court as she averaged just 10 points as a sophomore but quickly jumped up to averaging 20.2 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game for the Chargers.
She almost got to 50 3-pointers made on the season which contributed to about a 40% shooting percentage from behind the arc.
She played all 28 of her games in her senior and junior seasons for the Chargers as well.
