SYMCO, WI – The 58th annual Union Thresheree in Symco drew large crowds over the weekend, offering a three-day celebration of vintage farming, rural heritage, and collectible treasures.
The long-running event featured everything from tractor pulls and historic farm equipment displays to a bustling flea market filled with one-of-a-kind finds. Among the vendors was Marty, who says for him, it’s more about passion than profit.
“I’ve been doing flea markets just mostly as a hobby,” Marty said. “It ain’t generally profitable, but it’s fun. I’ve been doing it for several years. I’m into everything from vintage campers to collectible automobile.”
Organizers say the Thresheree continues to grow each year as a favorite summer tradition for families, collectors, and rural history enthusiasts across the region.
