BONDUEL, WI – The Village of Bonduel is taking a major step toward addressing its housing shortage with the construction of a new apartment development, Bear Trail Crossing.
Located on East Express Way, the project includes six apartment buildings totaling 48 units. The first building is already underway and is expected to be completed by early 2026. The new apartments will feature modern amenities aimed at meeting the needs of today’s renters while enhancing the village’s overall appeal.
“This project is something the village has needed for a long time,” said Municipal Operations Director Jesse Rankin. “We need single-family, multi-family, a wide variety of housing, because we haven’t had any new housing built in the village in the better part of a couple decades.”
Bonduel officials say the development is part of a broader effort to not only retain current residents but also attract new ones to the area. With housing demand on the rise since 2021, Bear Trail Crossing is expected to provide much-needed options for both individuals and families looking to call Bonduel home.
