PULASKI, WI- Authorities have arrested a 17-year-old girl from Oneida in connection with a shooting that took place Friday night at Memorial Park in Pulaski. This comes after a 19-year-old suspect was also taken into custody shortly after the incident.
Police responded to reports of gunfire, a fight involving several people, and a person with a knife around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old Green Bay man suffering from a gunshot wound. Both a handgun and a knife were recovered at the scene.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and has since been released. He is now cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The 19-year-old is facing recommended charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, injury by negligent use of a weapon, and disorderly conduct. The 17-year-old girl is being referred for charges of substantial battery, strangulation and suffocation, and disorderly conduct.
Police say all individuals involved have been identified, and additional charges may be considered as the investigation moves forward.
