CLINTONVILLE, WI – Get ready to cast your line and enjoy a full day of fishing, fun, and community spirit at the Pigeon Lake Ruff Fish Tournament, happening tomorrow, Saturday, July 19 at Mathew’s Bay in Wayside Park.
Hosted by the Pigeon Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District, the free event kicks off bright and early at 12:01 a.m., with participants allowed to launch from any of Clintonville’s five public landings. All catches must be registered by 3:00 p.m. at tournament headquarters.
Prizes will be awarded for the longest, second-longest, shortest, and most carp caught. Plus, each fish caught earns a raffle ticket, giving anglers even more chances to win. Raffle tickets will also be sold for $1 each, with drawings held later in the day.
The Clintonville VFW Post 664 will be serving up brats, burgers and beverages, from midday until 4 p.m., making it the perfect place to refuel and relax.
