SHAWANO, WI- Laughter, worship, and unforgettable memories filled the air this past week as Hope Community Church hosted its annual Summer Blast Kid’s Camp, drawing hundreds of local children for four evenings of faith-filled fun.
Held July 14–17 from 6 to 8 p.m., the event welcomed children entering grades 1 through 6 to the church grounds on Tristan Drive for a high-energy mix of worship, games, and small group discussions. The theme for the week focused on teaching God’s truth in a way that was both engaging and impactful for young hearts and minds.
From lively music to messy fun, the camp offered something for everyone. Children rotated through different stations each night, participating in outdoor games, and hands-on lessons that helped them connect with each other and deepen their understanding of faith.
Nearly 100 Volunteers from Hope Community Church made the event possible by leading small groups, coordinating activities, and serving behind the scenes. Their efforts helped ensure the camp ran smoothly and safely for all participants.
