GREEN BAY, WI – A woman wanted in connection with a violent carjacking in Green Bay has been arrested in Chicago.
Jerilyn Soto, 46, of Keshena, was taken into custody by Chicago police on Wednesday, a day after she allegedly stole a Prevea Health shuttle van at knifepoint outside HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center on Shawano Avenue. The victim was a Prevea Health employee who was on duty at the time.
Soto has since been charged with carjacking and armed robbery, according to Green Bay police.
While Soto is now in custody, the stolen van remains missing. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the dark gray 2022 Chrysler Pacifica, which features a white triangular topper labeled “Prevea Health Patient Shuttle” and a contact number 615-0985. The van carries Wisconsin license plate 35729AFT.
