Eugene “Buckie” C. Henrickson, age 81, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday morning July 9, 2025.
Eugene Charles Henrickson was born June 17, 1944, to the late Harold and Ruby (Lyon) Henrickson. Eugene lived on the family farm his entire life and despite his disability, he loved to help out with chores. His main jobs were keeping the barn clean and providing bedding for the cows. His family would always say “no cows had softer bedding than the ones Eugene cared for.” He and his family grew up with many animals, Eugene especially loved the dogs they had throughout the years. As a child, he enjoyed taking road trips, although they never left the state. Eugene was loved for his good sense of humor. He liked to play with cards, shuffling and dealing them for hours on end. He also enjoyed going on four-wheeler rides as well as his trips to Walmart where he could people-watch. Eugene will be remembered lovingly by his sisters and many other relatives.
Buckie is survived by his sisters: Marlene McGlin, Appleton; Kathlene (Donald) Hansen, New London; & Collene Clauson, Clintonville

Nieces & Nephews: Lisa (Jason) Boyd, Debra (Robert) Maul, Michael Clauson, Tammie Miller, Amy Wickman, Melissa (Jeff) Fletcher, Marsha (partner, Andy) Bussian
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Joseph McGlin; second cousins, James & Kenneth Niemer; & brothers-in-law, Joseph McGlin & Michael Clauson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 AM until Noon on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, South Location at 299 S. Main St. Clintonville, WI 54929.
Following the gathering, Buckie’s remains will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
