Wissports.net has released their final WSN Cup Standings with some area teams making some noise in the final standings.
Seymour finished 10th in the medium school category while Freedom finished in the top 3 of the small school category.
Here is how area teams gained points in the standings.
FALL RECAP:
Freedom Football and Coleman Football both reached state quarterfinals while Bonduel fell a game short of state, Wrightstown finished runners-up in their respective division.
Girls Golf:
Seymour finished 4th while Freedom finished 6th
Boys Soccer:
A successful run from Shawano saw them in the state tournament making it all the way to the semifinals.
Girls Volleyball:
Both Shawano and Bonduel saw great success as both made it to state
WINTER RECAP:
Boys Wrestling:
Freedom and Shiocton both reached sectional finals before bowing out, Coleman and Weyauwega-Fremont were both runners-up in their respective division.
Boys Basketball:
The Pulaski Red Raiders and the Wrightstown Tigers both reached a sectional final, Freedom and Bonduel both saw silver balls go into their trophy case finishing as runners-up.
Girls Basketball:
Both Shawano and Wittenberg-Birnamwood scratched and clawed their way to sectional finals while Bonduel reached a sectional semi-final of their own.
SPRING RECAP:
Girls/Boys Track:
Freedom Girls brought home gold as they won their division, Boys Track featured Shiocton and Coleman both finishing in the top 10.
Boys Golf:
Seymour did bring the Thunder as they brought home a 1st place finish, Bonduel finished 8th in their division.
Softball:
Manawa was the only area team to make it to a sectional final before bowing out of the tournament.
Girls Soccer:
Both Pulaski and Waupaca made sectional finals during their seasons.
Baseball:
Seymour brought home more hardware, this time it was silver as the Thunder fell one game short of a championship. Wittenberg-Birnamwood was one game away from state, falling in the sectional final and Hortonville was 1 of 8 state qualifiers in D1.
