WISCONSIN DELLS, WI – Several local athletes made their mark at the annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Girls’ All-Star Games on Wednesday, July 25, at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
In Division 1 action, Kimberly’s Reagan Krueger helped power the North to a 72-59 win with a solid 10-point performance. Krueger’s balanced play was key as the North pulled away in the second half.
Division 2 featured a big day for West De Pere’s Madisyn Berggren, who dropped 16 points to lead the North to another 72-59 win. She got support from teammates including fellow Phantom Faith Walder, who added 11 points, and Ashwaubenon’s Addy Phipps, who chipped in 14.
In Division 5, Lena’s Eva Brooks lit it up with a game-high 19 points for the North. Despite her strong showing, the North squad fell short, 79-68, after a late surge from the South.
