Shawano Police Reported A 911 call came in just after 1:40 a.m. from Estates Lane raised concerns when dispatchers heard a woman whispering before the line went silent. Officers responded and cleared the scene within 30 minutes. The details remain limited.
Later in the morning, police executed an Act 79 search at a home on South Smalley Street. Multiple officers were on scene as part of an ongoing drug investigation. No arrests have been confirmed at this time.
At 9:52 a.m., officers stood by as eviction papers were served on Engel Drive. The male occupant requested ambulance transport for possible detox.
A gas leak was reported outside the Shawano Civic Center just after 10:30 a.m. Fire crews responded, and We Energies was contacted. No injuries were reported.
Officers also responded to a death investigation at Woodport Doors on Industrial Drive. The call came in at 3:38 p.m. as a “man down” situation. Multiple units responded. The investigation remains active.
Later in the day, police handled a vehicle hit-and-run at Charlie’s County Market, reports of underage drinking at Memorial Park, and a dispute over dropped cash at a local gas station, caught on video.
Finally, around 11:30 p.m., officers diffused a domestic disturbance on South Lincoln Street. No arrests were made.
Clintonville Police Reported Officers conducted multiple business checks overnight, including locations along South Main, East 3rd, and 15th Street, ensuring local properties stayed secure. Extra patrols were also logged at Rohrer Street, Memorial Circle, and Pickerel Point, including its boat launch and playground.
A brief but intense storm around 3:40 a.m. prompted police response near 7th and Pershing Streets. No major damage was reported.
Throughout the day, several traffic stops occurred across North Main and surrounding intersections, along with enforcement of parking violations. A disabled vehicle was cleared from South Main just before 8 p.m.
Clintonville Police also provided mutual aid on East Ramsdell Street, responded to a reported animal problem on North Main, and assisted a citizen on Brent Street.
Finally, a late-night welfare check was conducted on 16th Street to ensure resident safety.
Shawano County Sheriff’s Deputies stayed busy throughout the day, responding to 26 incidents across the county.
The early morning kicked off with a traffic hazard near Leopolis Road, where a tree branch was found blocking part of the roadway. A deputy advised it would be cleared shortly.
Two abandoned vehicles were reported — one with a broken wheel near Cedar Road in Pulaski and another gray SUV left near a playground in Shawano for three days. Both were addressed by deputies.
A disturbance in Birnamwood led to an arrest around 11 a.m., while a troubling welfare check in Marion involved reports of aggressive behavior and drug activity. Deputies were warned the subject was possibly dangerous.
Meanwhile, a bite report came from Green Bay’s St. Mary’s Hospital, where a man was treated after being bitten on the wrist by his own unvaccinated dog.
Throughout the day, several disabled vehicles were reported, including one involving a pickup with a boat on Highway 29. One crash near County Road T sent a vehicle deep into a ditch; the driver believes they may have passed out behind the wheel.
Elsewhere, deputies responded to multiple 911 hang-ups, a reckless driving complaint in Pulaski, and a commercial burglary alarm at Dollar General on South Cecil Street.
Officers also performed inmate transports to Outagamie County Jail and an Appleton medical facility.
