WEYAUWEGA, WI- The Weyauwega-Fremont School Board officially accepted the resignation of District Administrator Phillip Tubbs at its June 23 meeting. Tubbs, who began his role in 2019, will be taking a new position as a principal in the D.C. Everest School District. A graduate of Tomah High School and UW-La Crosse, Tubbs began his career in physical education and later earned a master’s degree in education from Keene State College. He held leadership roles in schools across Wisconsin, including in Phillips, Menomonie, and the Tomorrow River School District in Amherst, before coming to Weyauwega-Fremont.
