SEYMOUR, WI- The Outagamie County Fair welcomed a special guest on Thursday as Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair Megan Salentine made an appearance on the fairgrounds, meeting with exhibitors and fairgoers while taking in everything the Seymour community has to offer.
Salentine, who serves as the statewide ambassador for Wisconsin’s county and district fairs, said she was impressed by the turnout and the passion of those involved.
“I’m loving it here, wonderful,” she said. “Lots of exhibitors that I visited with and really stepping into this fair community, seeing how special it is here in Seymour.”
As Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair, Salentine travels across the state during the summer months, visiting dozens of local fairs to promote agricultural education, connect with local leaders, and celebrate the traditions that make Wisconsin fairs a vital part of community life.
Her visit to Seymour highlighted the spirit of the Outagamie County Fair, which continues through the weekend with entertainment, exhibits, and family-friendly fun.
