WITTENBERG, WI- The Wittenberg-Birnamwood School Board voted unanimously on June 23 to increase daily pay for substitute teachers by $10. Regular substitutes will now earn $130 per day, while long-term subs will receive $200 per day. Superintendent Garrett Rogowski said the change puts the district among the top-paying in central Wisconsin and helps simplify the pay structure. Pay for substitute aides will remain unchanged at $16.44 per hour for the 2024-25 school year.
