Two of Wisconsin’s top high school softball players capped off stellar senior seasons with statewide recognition, as the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) announced its 2025 Players of the Year.
In Division 1, Karly Meredith of Kaukauna earned the honor after a dominant season both in the circle and at the plate. Meredith led the Ghosts to another deep playoff run, continuing the program’s tradition of excellence. Known for her poise, power, and leadership, she was a key force behind Kaukauna’s success, solidifying her place among the elite players in state history.
In Division 2, Saylor Timmerman of Lakeland claimed the top honor following a senior year filled with standout performances. Timmerman anchored the Thunderbirds with consistent play, combining offensive firepower with defensive reliability. Her all-around game and leadership made her a difference-maker in every contest.
