The 2025 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-State Teams were announced this week, with several standout athletes from northeast Wisconsin programs earning statewide honors for their performances on the diamond.
Wrightstown’s senior Trevor Vande Hey was named to the First Team as an outfielder after batting .390 during the season. His teammate Aiden Humphreys, also a senior, earned Honorable Mention recognition as a pitcher, finishing with a 5-1 record and a 2.31 ERA.
Kimberly’s Sawyer Deering was selected to the First Team at the DH/Utility spot. The senior impressed on both sides of the ball with a 5-2 pitching record, a 1.75 ERA, and a strong .444 batting average. Fellow Papermaker Connor Olson, a senior infielder, landed on the Third Team with a .403 average.
Hortonville had a strong showing as well, led by senior catcher Turner Kuhnke, who earned Second Team honors with a .337 average. Junior pitcher Braylon Brantner joined the Third Team after going 8-1 with a 1.65 ERA on the mound.
Notre Dame’s Christian Collins, a senior outfielder, earned Second Team honors after batting .438 and playing a key role in the Tritons’ offense throughout the season.
De Pere was represented by senior outfielder Ryan Wettstein, who earned a Second Team spot thanks to his impressive .532 batting average, one of the highest in the state.
Shiocton’s Hunter Heinemeyer put together one of the best offensive seasons in the region, earning Third Team honors as an infielder after hitting a remarkable .521 in his senior campaign.
Neenah’s Mack Krause, a junior infielder, received Honorable Mention recognition with a .403 batting average, while Pulaski’s Brian Wotruba, a sophomore, also earned Honorable Mention after batting .441.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Zandyr Barke, a junior infielder, joined the Honorable Mention list with a strong .481 average, while Seymour’s Xavier Salzman made Honorable Mention as a DH/Utility player, going 7-0 on the mound and batting .392.
