The 2025 Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) All-State Teams have been announced, and several area athletes have earned top honors for their outstanding performances this season.
Leading the way in Division 2/3 First Team All-State is Addison Wery of Seymour, who capped off her senior year with a dominant presence both at the plate and in the field. Wery’s leadership helped guide the Thunder to another strong season, and her All-State First Team selection cements her status as one of the top players in the state.
Joining her on the First Team is Rory Salvesen, a junior from Wittenberg-Birnamwood, whose consistent production and defensive prowess played a major role in the Chargers’ postseason run. Salvesen continues to be a standout in the Central Wisconsin Conference and is expected to be one of the top returners in 2026.
In Division 2/3 Second Team honors, Madison Babcock of Fox Valley Lutheran, a rising sophomore, made her mark early in her varsity career. Babcock’s versatile skill set and poise under pressure earned her a spot among the state’s elite underclassmen.
Also recognized was Maggie Frank of Denmark, a junior who has been a steady presence for the Vikings. Her selection to the Second Team reflects her contributions both offensively and defensively throughout the season.
Several area athletes were also named Honorable Mention, including:
-
Shaelyn Kraschnewski (Denmark) – A sophomore standout whose breakout year caught the attention of coaches statewide.
-
Ellie Winkelman (New London) – A promising sophomore whose athleticism made her one of the top young players in the Bay Conference.
The WFSCA All-State list honors players across all grades who demonstrated excellence on the field, leadership in the dugout, and consistency throughout the spring season. With many underclassmen recognized, area teams look well-positioned for continued success in 2026.
