
Carlton Edward “Carl” Hock, age 80, of Bonduel passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2025. Carl was born in the Town of Hobart on November 17, 1944, son of the late Henry and Marie (Wallenburg) Hock. He graduated from West DePere High School and was united in marriage to Carol A. Schmit on October 28, 1965, in Green Bay. Together Carl and Carol raised seven children and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Hartland. Carl loved farming and anything involving tractors, he rebuilt antique tractors and enjoyed tractor pulling. He also loved riding motorcycles and cherished the memory of the Harley trip he and Carol took to Yellowstone. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and dogs.
Carl is survived by: his seven children, Timothy (Kimberly) Hock of Texas, Leland Hock of Texas, Carla (Doug) Garnto of Alabama, Tinalynn Socha of Hickory Corners, Laura Hock of Louisiana, Lisa Hock of Cecil, and Rebecca (Ryan) Robertson of Freedom; grandchildren Timothy Hock, Jr., Titan (Faith) Hock, Kourtney (Pierce) Hock, Hannah (Santiago) Hock, Haley (Carl) Aguilar, Lucas (Perla) Hock, Garrick Hock, Genna (Dustin) Mize, Kylee (Jake) Malone, Samantha Kwazema, Justina Socha, Anthony (Allison) Socha, Jr., Michaela (Jamie) Lardinois, Kierstin (Wyatt) Nelson, Charity Socha, Harline Socha, Brandon (Areial) Nelson, Travis Nelson, Kara (Dominick) Sarto, Krista (Andrew) Nelson, Colton Field, Bailee (Jacob) Kraning, Camryn Kraning, Trevor Kraning, Evan Staszak, Emma Staszak, Owen Robertson, and Stella Robertson; 22 great grandchildren with two more on the way; sister, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Betty and Leland Blohm and Germaine Hock. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, his parents, and two brothers.
A funeral service for Carl will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
