WAUPACA, WI- A 46-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon following a motorcycle crash near County Highway E and Casey Road.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office received the report around 1:48 p.m. on June 3. When first responders arrived, they found witnesses already attempting life-saving measures, which were continued by law enforcement and medical personnel. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the initial investigation, the man had been traveling northbound on County Highway E when he left the roadway and struck several trees along Casey Road.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Gold Cross Ambulance, the Waupaca County Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Waupaca Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
