OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI- Drivers can expect increased construction activity in June as resurfacing projects continue along WIS 47 and WIS 54. The projects cover a combined 16.9 miles and are part of a $10.2 million investment in local road infrastructure. From June 2 to June 6, crews on WIS 54—from County Highway S in Liberty to Park Street in Shiocton—will focus on cleaning up the work zone following restoration efforts. Meanwhile, work on WIS 47—from County B in Black Creek to the north Outagamie County line—will include beam guard removal, shoulder widening, new guardrail installation, and topsoil placement along the slopes. The work is scheduled to continue through late August. Motorists are advised to use caution in work zones and watch for changing traffic patterns.
