Donald R. “Don” Yeager, age 73, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Don was born December 17, 1951, in Clintonville, the son of the late Arella Yeager. He attended St. Martin Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Clintonville High School. On May 24, 1975, Don was united in marriage to Jeanne Tomashek of Shawano. They enjoyed a marriage full of happiness and family gatherings, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month. Don and Jeanne lived all their years together at Cloverleaf Lakes. Don always
said, “Welcome to Paradise!” He loved lake life and the rural lifestyle very much. The majority of Don’s career was at Converting, Inc. in Clintonville. In his retirement, he helped as a bailiff at the Shawano County Courthouse. He cherished his family and our many gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Yeager of the Town of Belle Plaine; children, Jessica (Brent) Meier of Appleton, and Ryan (Crystal) Yeager of Ripon; five grandchildren, Grace Meier, Andrew Meier, Jeremiah Yeager, Rory Yeager, and Stella Yeager. He is also survived by dear sisters and brothers-in-law whom he and Jeanne hosted for many celebrations. He will be remembered for his fun-loving personality. We enjoyed many boat rides, campfires, card games, fireworks traditions, frog-catching, kid and grandkid sporting events, and backyard grilling celebrations.
A private service for Donald R. Yeager will be held.
