The Shawano Police Department responded to a series of incidents across the city, starting shortly after midnight. Just after midnight, officers were called to the Four Seasons on North Airport Drive for a welfare check. A woman, reportedly with a black eye, had been sitting outside for nearly an hour, digging through cigarette bins and claiming she was waiting for an Uber. She was taken into custody. Around 4:30 a.m., a disturbance was reported at an East Lieg Avenue apartment. A man was reportedly screaming from a window before retreating into Apartment 3. Officers responded and are continuing to investigate. Later that morning, a commercial alarm at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Green Bay Street turned out to be a false alarm, and all was secure upon officer arrival. At 11 a.m., officers were called to Shawano Community High School for a fight in progress—followed less than an hour later by a report of a weapon offense at the same address. No further details have been released at this time. A missing person case was reported on Pearl Avenue, involving 20-year-old woman and another missing person complaint, an older woman, was reported later that evening after she failed to return from a trip to Walmart or Goodwill. And finally, around 11:30 p.m., an elderly man wandered into a convenience store on East Green Bay Street, confused and unsure of where he lived. Officers identified him and helped him get the assistance he needed.
Clintonville Daily Police Report Officers conducted numerous overnight business checks along South Main and 10th Streets, ensuring properties remained secure in the early morning hours. Later in the day, police maintained a visible presence with extra patrols on Walnut Street and East Morning Glory Drive. School Resource Officers also gave a presentation on 20th Street. Medical emergencies prompted ambulance calls on both South Main and Summer Streets just before 10 a.m., and a motor vehicle crash occurred at 7th and South Main around 1:20 p.m. In the afternoon, a suspicious activity call came in from West Street, followed shortly by a report of illegal fireworks on North Main. Police also responded to a welfare check near McKinley Avenue and 16th Street around 10:30 p.m., and assisted the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office with an incident near Highway 45 and Knitt Road just before midnight. Throughout the day, officers stayed busy with traffic stops across the city—especially along North 12th, West Madison, and South Main Streets.
Deputies responded to nearly 40 incidents across the county, ranging from minor lockouts to serious welfare concerns. Just after midnight, officers fielded a 911 call with no identifiable emergency. Later in the early hours, a deer was struck along Highway 29 near South Broadway. The animal was cleared from the roadway without further incident. In Bowler, a woman locked her keys in her vehicle just after 7 a.m., and deputies were able to assist. Meanwhile, a suspicious person was reported emerging from woods in Clintonville. That case was closed without arrests. A trespassing complaint at Aarrowcast in Shawano involved a former employee allegedly sending harassing messages. Deputies were also called to a possible sexual assault case referred by the Oneida Community Health Clinic, which remains under investigation. There were also two reckless driving complaints: one involving a driver seen dangerously speeding through Eland, and another near Highway 45 and Kildeer Lane. The day ended with officers responding to a noise complaint in Pulaski, a deer-related crash on Highway 29, and the arrest of an individual on an outstanding warrant near Eland Road and Bluebird Road.
