SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano County Executive Committee has recommended Nichole Zuehl to serve as the county’s next finance director, with final approval expected from the full county board at its May 28 meeting.
Zuehl steps into the role following the resignation of Carrie Buntjer, who left the position on May 2.
Bringing more than a decade of financial experience, Zuehl has worked in roles ranging from bank teller to senior financial and cost analyst. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Oshkosh and a master’s degree from Concordia University, along with additional professional training through UW-Madison.
Her appointment took effect May 19. Zuehl will earn an annual salary of $116,688.
