Ronald W. Britzke age 72 of Clintonville, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 27, 2025 at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
Ronald “Ron” “Red Beard” William Britzke was born February 26, 1953, son to the late Arthur & Viola (Fritz) Britzke. He attended Tigeton High School and graduated with the class of 1971. After graduation, Ron worked at Marion Building Center for a few years, then Northland Glass in Clintonville which was later purchased by Tri-City Glass. He was united in marriage to Rose Violet Phillips on May 11, 2007. After working as a window and door installer with Tri-City for many years, he later retired from Dearco, Shawano in 2013. In his younger years, Ron played BABA Baseball with the Caroline Cougars and supported the ball club his whole life. He enjoyed watching the Brewers and always had a “thing or two” to say about umpire calls or decisions made by the team and players. The Packers and Badgers were also teams which he followed closely. He also worked on his brother’s farm driving tractor, or helping out wherever he was needed. Time spent outdoors in the woods deer hunting was where Ron wanted to be, sharing his adventures with friends and family. Ron enjoyed listening and dancing to Polka music and often attended dances in Wisconsin Dells and Pulaski Polka Days. He could sit for hours and watch the deer come up to the back of the house. Ron will be remembered for his good sense of humor; always quick with a joke or just being silly around his friends and family.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Rose
Brother: Richard (Dorothy) Britzke, Caroline
Brother-in-law: Maynard Zoellner
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia Britzke; & his sister, Patty Zoellner.
