Roger C. Kellogg, age 69, of Oak Forest, Illinois and of Shawano, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025, in Shawano. Roger was born on September 27, 1955, in Roseland, Illinois, son of the late Klayton and Dolores (Blattner) Kellogg. On June 21, 1980, Roger was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cheryl Winicky in Midlothian, Illinois. Roger was a talented musician, and he worked as a music teacher for many years at Arbor Park School in Oak Forest. He loved music and enjoyed boating and traveling with Cheryl. Roger enjoyed the company of his family, friends, and campers. He proudly ran Kellogg’s Campground in Shawano for many years and made many wonderful memories.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Cheryl, and a sister, Karla (Jerry) Middleton. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Klayton E. Kellogg and parents, Klayton and Dolores.
A Funeral Mass for Roger will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May 31, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday May 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm then again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano following the service.
