The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) released its latest statewide rankings for the week of May 19, and several powerhouse programs continue to hold strong as the postseason nears.
Division 1 remains led by undefeated Kaukauna (18-0), which holds the top spot for another week. Close behind are Kenosha Bradford (22-1) and Green Bay Preble (23-0), both continuing dominant seasons. Sussex Hamilton (22-1) and Wisconsin Lutheran (19-1) round out the top five, while D.C. Everest, Oregon, and Middleton shuffle slightly in the middle of the pack. Ashwaubenon and Arrowhead stay locked at No. 9 and 10. Stevens Point joins the honorable mention list after a strong 20-5 start.
In Division 2, Fox Valley Lutheran takes over the top ranking at 23-0, jumping ahead of Jefferson (20-4). Luxemburg-Casco, Mosinee, and Monroe round out a largely unchanged top five. All 10 teams from last week return in order, reflecting consistency across the division.
Poynette (19-2) remains atop Division 3, while Turner (18-2) moves up to No. 2, trading spots with Grantsburg (16-4). Lomira also climbs, while Brillion breaks into the top 10 at No. 8 following a strong stretch.
In Division 4, Pacelli (22-1) retains the No. 1 ranking, followed closely by Mishicot (21-3) and Cuba City (20-4). Manawa (16-3) moves up to seventh, and Mineral Point (19-5) makes its debut at No. 8. The rest of the top 10 remains relatively stable.
Division 5 continues to be paced by Belmont (19-3), with Barneveld, Almond-Bancroft, and Johnson Creek filling out a familiar top four. Columbus Catholic jumps into the rankings at No. 9, while Blair-Taylor slips to tenth.
These rankings come as teams prepare for postseason play, with the WIAA releasing the 2025 softball playoff brackets earlier this week.
