Touch-A-Truck Event Draws Big Crowd in Shawano

SHAWANO, WI- Families from across the area turned out in large numbers Wednesday for the popular Touch-A-Truck event, held at the Crawford Center in Shawano. Hosted by the Shawano Parks & Recreation Department and sponsored by Shawano Family Dentistry, the free event ran from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and offered children a hands-on chance to explore a wide range of vehicles — from fire trucks and police cars to tractors. Parents praised the event for being fun, educational, and family-friendly. Many noted that their children were especially excited to meet local first responders.
