SHAWANO, WI- The Seymour Thunder scored 2 runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th inning to top Shawano 8-2 on Tuesday, locking up the Bay Conference title.
“They don’t make many mistakes, and they make you pay for yours,” said Coach Dustin Beyer.
Shawano was held to three hits, including two by Pete Bruette.
The Thunder pitching was strong, and defensive plays kept the Hawks bats quiet.
Seymour remains unbeaten in Conference play.
