Shawano Pathways Hosting Casual Bike Ride Through Wescott

SHAWANO, WI- Shawano Pathways is inviting cyclists of all skill levels to take part in a casual country roads bike ride through the Town of Wescott on May 17. The scenic ride offers three route options between 8 and 19 miles, allowing participants to choose a distance that fits their comfort level. Riders who complete the full 19-mile loop will be treated to free ice cream at Shawano Lake County Park. Participants should arrive by 9:45 a.m. at the Mielke Arts Center parking lot, N5649 Airport Road in Shawano, to check in before the ride. Water, snacks, and restroom facilities will be available, and riders are encouraged to register in advance on Eventbrite. Donations are welcome to support Shawano Pathways’ mission to enhance local trails and greenways, and all cyclists are reminded to wear helmets and bright clothing for safety.
