Shawano Police began their day responding to a parking dispute on Waukechon Street just before 8 a.m. A resident reported a black Ford F-350 blocking his garage again.
Shortly after 9 a.m., police received a 911 call from ThedaCare Medical Center. A patient had mistakenly dialed emergency services while trying to reach her caregiver.
Later that morning, officers responded to two loose dogs running around near South Andrews and East Maurer Streets. Fortunately, the dogs returned home on their own before officers arrived.
In the early afternoon, a multi-unit police and EMS response was dispatched to South Lutz Street. The call was labeled “Transport-All,” and lasted several hours, though details remain limited.
At around 5 p.m., officers assisted with a general welfare concern on West 3rd Street, followed by a suspicious incident two hours later on East 5th Street. An anonymous caller reported two men fighting. Multiple officers responded to the scene.
Just blocks away, police were called for a welfare check on a man reportedly intoxicated or on drugs, attempting to enter a local bar on East Green Bay Street. He was seen stumbling across the street, yelling.
And finally, at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from East Lieg Avenue. The incident was determined to be an accidental dial.
Clintonville Police were busy overnight with tavern checks and extra patrols across the city, including Memorial Circle, Pickerel Point Playground, and several businesses on Club House Drive and 9th Street.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded to an open door report on Ginger Court, and later assisted with an ambulance call on Ginger Trace around 11:30 in the morning.
Suspicious activity was also investigated on 9th Street just after 11 a.m.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, officers increased visibility with additional traffic stops along South Main Street and surrounding intersections. A juvenile problem was addressed on West 14th Street just before 11 p.m.
Also noted were multiple citizen assists and extra patrols continuing into the night.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 incidents over a 24-hour period, with reports ranging from emergency calls to arrests.
Overnight, dispatch received multiple abandoned 911 calls from the same number in Marion—officers were unable to trace the source. Shortly after midnight, crews responded to a stove fire in Bonduel. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
At 9 a.m., deputies executed a warrant arrest in Shawano, detaining a suspect without incident. A domestic disturbance later that morning on Cattau Beach Drive also led to an arrest.
Midday reports included a syringe-filled bag found on a roadside walk in Birnamwood and a pile of discarded tires on a public trail near Norrie Road—raising litter and public health concerns.
A particularly disturbing call came around 3 a.m., when a mother was told her two young children were found in a parked car outside a bar with their intoxicated father. Officers are actively investigating.
Later in the evening, an ATV crash involving a deer left one person injured on Twin Creek Road in Bonduel. No major medical emergencies were reported. Another deer-related call involved an injured pregnant doe—the caller hoped to save the animal, but its fate is unclear.
The Stockbridge-Munsee Police Department also logged two incidents, including a bail-jumping arrest in Gresham.
