
Darlene “Punkin” Woller, age 81 of Gresham, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, April 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Darlene was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on April 2, 1944, a daughter of the late Peter and Irene (Zeddies) Hennricks. She grew up in Reedsville, WI and graduated from Reedsville High School in 1962. Following high school, Darlene was employed at The Ariens Company in Brillion, WI. She was last employed as an in-home daycare provider. On October 28, 1983, Darlene was united in marriage to Rodney Woller at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, WI. The couple lived in Kaukauna until building
their dream home in Gresham in 2016. She loved the Chicago Cubs and visiting the casino. Darlene was an excellent wife and homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished the relationships she made with the parents and children from her daycare. Darlene also spent many years at Captain’s Cove Campground where she made many special friends.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Woller, of Gresham; her daughter, Stacey (Kevin) Krake of Freedom, WI; her son, Tim Woller of Gresham; three grandchildren, Adam (Kortney) VanDenBogart of Wrightstown, WI, Mason Krake of Freedom, WI, and Jude Krake of Milwaukee, WI; three great-grandchildren, Braylie, Kallen, and Brynn; her sister, Diane Stock; sister-in-law, Cindy (Pat) DuFrane; her goddaughters, Holly Schampers and Holly Hoffman; and several nieces and nephews. Darlene was preceded in death by her brother, Nick Hennricks, and her in-laws, Roy and Leona Waller.
A memorial service for Darlene will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and continue until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests memorials in Darlene’s name to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, or the Ronald McDonald House.
