GREEN BAY, WI- Green Bay may be the NFL’s smallest market, but it delivered one of the biggest NFL Draft turnouts ever.
Organizers originally estimated 240,000 fans would attend the three-day event. Instead, more than 600,000 fans packed into Titletown, overwhelming expectations and tying Nashville’s 2019 draft for the second-highest attendance on record. Only Detroit’s 2024 draft drew more, with 775,000 fans.
Official numbers released by the NFL show 205,000 attended Thursday, 175,000 on Friday, and another 220,000 on Saturday.
Packers leadership beamed with pride after hosting the landmark event.
General Manager Brian Gutekunst added he was pleasantly surprised by how the weekend played out.
The NFL tracked attendance using a sophisticated camera system at all entry gates, ensuring an accurate crowd count as fans poured into the city.
