By 8:40 AM, officers were called to a welfare check at Naberhood Park where a man was reportedly dancing erratically near traffic. He was not in immediate danger, but concerns were noted.
Shortly after, a complaint came in about a city garbage truck allegedly damaging a semi on Randall Street. That incident remains under review.
Police also investigated trespassing at a home on E Lieg Avenue, where a tent and green tarp were found in the woods behind the property.
At 9:55, a death investigation was launched on Kleeman Court. Multiple officers and emergency services responded. No further details have been released.
Other calls included a traffic hazard on Highway 22, a drug offense reported at the Shawano Police Department itself, and a case of property damage involving a U-Haul at All Stor Self Storage.
Later in the afternoon, a stolen bicycle was reported outside Charlie’s County Market — the suspect was caught on surveillance footage.
