TOWN OF LITTLE WOLF, WI- One person is dead following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday night on State Highway 22/110 at Fuhs Road, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported at 8:33 p.m. Preliminary investigation shows that a northbound pickup truck rear-ended a tractor, ejecting both the driver and passenger from the tractor. Moments later, the passenger was struck by a following passenger vehicle.
The male passenger of the tractor was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved, pending notification of family members.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation. They were assisted at the scene by the Manawa Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Manawa Fire Department, Manawa Ambulance, Waupaca County Highway Department, and the Waupaca County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
