Cross Country: Shawano Girls; New London Boys Win Bay

DE PERE, WI- New London captured the boys’ championship, while Shawano secured the girls’ team title in an exciting day of cross-country competition.

New London’s boys tallied 48 points, edging out West De Pere by just six points. Seymour’s Logan Boehnlein claimed the individual title with a time of 16:51.2, followed closely by Chase Osborn of New London, who finished second at 17:01.9.

In the girls’ race, Shawano dominated with 36 points, well ahead of West De Pere’s 65. West De Pere’s Kate Schmoll took the top individual spot, finishing in 20:11.8, while Shawano’s Bailey Hendricks placed second with a time of 20:33.2.
