SHIOCTON, WI- Village President Teri James has stepped down as Village President of Shiocton. It was announced that she is moving.
Terri served the Village of Shiocton for 19 years. Jenny Schmoock has been appointed as Village President for the remainder of James term. That term will run through April, 2025.
The move leaves a seat on the Village Board vacant. Anyone interested in fulfilling the remainder of Schmoock’s term on the Village Board can submit a letter of interest to the Clerk’s office. The letters are due no later than November 8, 2024. The board will decide on who will fill the seat at the November 11th meeting.
