CLINTONVILLE, WI-The Clintonville Aqua Park saw just over 4,000 patron visits during its inaugural summer, despite facing 20 days of inclement weather closures. Public Works Director Justin Mc Auly presented the attendance figures and a recap of the Aqua Park’s first season at the August 29 Public Works Committee meeting.
In June, the Aqua Park averaged 84 visitors per day, with Saturdays attracting the highest attendance at 1,002 patrons—24% of the total visits. Wednesdays followed closely with 984 visitors, a boost attributed to the City Council’s approval of free admission on the second Wednesday of each month.
Concession sales for the summer totaled over $12,000, just shy of the previous pool’s average of $13,000.
