Tigerton Tigers fell to the Wild Rose Wildcats in a cross-conference volleyball match, losing in straight sets with scores of 13-25, 12-25, and 7-25. Coach Meverden noted the team struggled with serve receive and communication as the match progressed. “We couldn’t handle the changing tempo of Wild Rose’s servers and had too many overpasses,” Meverden said, but she praised the team’s serving and positive attitude despite the outcome. Key stats from the match include Sienna Breaker, Lillian Welch, and Angel Welch, each recording 7 digs. Jade Selle added 6 digs, and Danika Tiller and Aaliyah Lederhaus contributed 5 apiece. Presley Stewart-Rolfs led with 3 kills, followed by Selle with 2, and A. Welch with 1. Tiller had 5 assists, while Stewart-Rolfs and Lederhaus each recorded a block kill.

Pulaski Red Raider Invitational
Girls Cross-Country
Appleton North captured first place at the Pulaski Red Raider Invitational with 45 points, edging out Little Chute (76) and Notre Dame (118). Eva Busch led Appleton North, winning the race with a time of 18:18.2, just ahead of teammate Sophia Scherwinski. Hortonville’s Hannah Huza finished sixth with a time of 18:55.3. Shawano’s Bailey Hendricks was the top finisher for her team, taking 13th place in 19:27.5.
Boys Cross-Country
Green Bay Preble dominated the boys’ race, finishing with 22 points, well ahead of Pulaski (105). Joseph Hunt of Notre Dame took the individual title, crossing the line in 15:44.7. Green Bay Preble had four runners in the top six, with Jacob Nuthals leading the way, placing second in 15:58.2.
Waupaca Invitational
Girls Cross-Country
Winneconne secured the team title at the Waupaca Invitational with 53 points, edging out Marshfield (62) and Fox Valley Lutheran (82). Waupaca’s Sienna Timm claimed first place, completing the course in 20:05.0. Claire Fischer led Fox Valley Lutheran, finishing in sixth place with a time of 21:19.3.
Boys Cross-Country
Winneconne’s boys’ team also took home the championship with 60 points, just ahead of Marshfield (65). Waupaca’s Owen Lencki won the individual title with an impressive 16:14.2, while Grant Wenzelow of Winneconne took second in 16:35.6.
Reedsville Invitational
Girls Cross-Country
Valders came out on top with 53 points at the Reedsville Invitational, beating Oconto Falls (67) and Kewaunee (96). Hannah Miller of Kewaunee was the individual champion, finishing with a time of 19:02.92, followed closely by Valders’ Hannah Welch in 19:16.50.
Boys Cross-Country
Chilton won the boys’ team title with 39 points, well ahead of Newchaa (67). Ben Adams from Oconto Falls crossed the finish line first in 16:56.18, with Ben Grota of Southern Door finishing second in 17:09.53.
Rosholt Invitational
Girls Cross-Country
Wittenberg-Birnamwood topped the girls’ competition at the Rosholt Invitational with 51 points, holding off Bonduel (61). Bonduel’s Mariah Wondra won the individual title, completing the course in 19:08.95.
Boys Cross-Country
Stevens Point emerged victorious in the boys’ race with 44 points, led by individual champion Luke Eiden, who finished in a time of 15:36.70. Pacelli took second place with 95 points.
