Golf: Shawano Keeps Conference Hopes Alive

DE PERE, WI- The Shawano Hawks won the Bay Conference meet on Tuesday at Mid Vallee Golf Course to keep the heat on Seymour for the conference race. Shawano shot a 178 while Seymour shot a 190. Seymour was leading the conference by 6 points over Shawano, but the Hawks dropped it to 4 points after the win with only one more conference stop at Xavier and the final Conference Invite to make up the necessary points.  Sophia Eggert won the meet with a 39 and Shawano had personal bests from Del Kunze and Grace Pensis both with 45’s.
