The High School Football season kicked off with Non-Conference games.
BAY VS NORTHEASTERN BATTLES
Shawano 26, Denmark 13
Shawano pulled off a thrilling 26-13 victory over Denmark, thanks to a fourth quarter that saw them score 14 unanswered points. Jerzy Brocker led the offense, throwing for 152 yards and one touchdown while also rushing for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Steven Kielpikowski had 108 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Xavier 56, Valders 12
Matthew Potter led Xavier on the ground with 4 touchdowns, while rushing for 147 yards.
Freedom 43, New London 20
Freedom scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to pull away from New London. Drew Kortz threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for one score. Tommy Fields scored three times for New London.
Fox Valley Lutheran 38, Two Rivers 7
The Foxes dominated the Raiders with a powerful offensive display, racking up 503 total yards, including 362 passing yards. Quarterback Lucas Papendorf was outstanding, completing 22-of-30 passes for 343 yards and five touchdowns.
Seymour 20, Luxemburg-Casco 14
Seymour edged out Luxemburg-Casco 20-14 in a tight game that saw a flurry of scoring in the second and fourth quarters. After a scoreless first quarter, Luxemburg-Casco took the lead with a 54-yard touchdown run by Andrew Klass, but Seymour quickly responded with a 26-yard touchdown pass from Cayden Staffeldt. In the fourth quarter, Seymour’s Staffeldt and Xavier Salzman each ran in touchdowns to seal the victory.
Wrightstown 56, Waupaca 14
Austin Adamczak threw a touchdown and rushed for one, but also tossed three interceptions, giving a high powered Wrightstown offense more opportunities with the ball.
Winneconne 34, Little Chute 21
Brody Schaffer rushed for two touchdowns and 135 yards to help lead the Winneconne offense.

Weyauwega-Fremont 28, Bellevue 27
Carter Birdyshaw returned a fourth quarter kickoff for a touchdown, that gave the Warhawks a lead that they would not give up. Kameron Zielke threw two touchdown passes, and rushed for one. Bellevue had a late 27-21 lead before the kick return.

Jensen Rice scored four touchdowns for the T-Birds. Rice scored twice through the air and twice on the ground, while rushing for 207 yards.

Isaac Bramer scored three times for Oconto Falls, leading the offense with 114 yards.
