BONDUEL, WI- After four months of road construction, the streets of Bonduel are finally clear, and residents can once again travel freely. The village announced on August 6 that State Highway 117 has fully reopened, marking the end of a project that had brought detours and disruptions to the area. The completion of the work was highlighted by the return of traffic lights at the County Road BE intersection, and it didn’t take long for the highway to return to its usual bustling state, a relief to businesses and residents affected by the closures.
The construction project included more than just repaving; new traffic signals, curb ramps, pedestrian crossings, and water and sewer system repairs were also completed. Although businesses remained open throughout the construction, alternative access routes were often necessary.
