SHAWANO, Wis. – The much-anticipated opening of the Shawano Farmers Market, organized by The FRESH Project, has been canceled for this Saturday, June 22, due to severe weather predictions.
The FRESH Project announced the cancellation, prioritizing the safety of vendors and visitors amidst forecasts of harsh weather conditions. The market, which brings together local farmers and artisans to offer fresh produce and handmade goods, will resume operations next weekend, weather permitting.
“We regret to inform our community that the Shawano Farmers Market will not take place this Saturday,” a spokesperson for The FRESH Project stated. “Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.”
